Getting Ready to Launch

I have been very busy in the studio and on my computer getting ready for the launch of Dio Designs. With the help of designer Sara Ponce (www.saraponce.com), I have a logo and I have begun figuring out the basics for my table display for shows. (Thank you, thank you Sara for your great work!)
Of course I keep getting lost in my first love (patterns). A Pinterest junky, I am always scouring the internet for images and inspiration. (As well as my own back yard I might mention). I draw inspiration from a wide range of resources including science and microscopic images, fashion and textiles, immediate nature, other artists....the list goes on. I will be creating a Pinterest page for Dio Designs in hope of sharing and exchanging my love of pattern with others. Look for future posts about this. I would love for people to share their own favorite patterns as these may become the inspiration for future work.
