Working on making canes
One of my favorite things to do is work on developing cane patterns in polymer. ( Second only to combining them to create designs and images!) Today I worked on a number of canes in bright saturated autumn colors. Some of them might get worked into pieces that are similar in color or style. But what is sometimes more interesting is finding unlikely ways to create different combinations of pattern and color.
All kinds of patterns inspire my canes. (here you see both a plaid and circular pattern.) Lately I have been inspired by both fashion prints in fiber arts as well as "older" (non electron) microscopic images of cells, virus, and bacteria. Check out my Pinterest boards from Dio Designs as I begin to share and collect images that I find inspiring. I would love to see what you are looking at as well!

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, businesses require fast, reliable, and secure connectivity solutions to support their cloud-based applications and data transfers. Cloud Connect refers to a dedicated, private connection between a business's on-premise infrastructure and a cloud service provider, bypassing the public internet. Essentially, it provides businesses with a direct, secure, and high-performance link to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. By bypassing the public internet, Cloud Connect ensures data is transmitted securely reducing the risk of cyber threats and data breaches. Companies with global operations can use IPLC to securely and reliably transfer large volumes of data across borders. IPLC works by leasing a dedicated circuit from a telecom provider, which is connected between two locations. This leased line is not shared with other customers, ensuring that the bandwidth and speed are exclusively available for your business's use. It enables businesses to connect different locations across the world, making it an ideal choice for multinational companies with offices or operations in various countries. With Colocation Server businesses own their physical servers but lease the necessary facilities from the data center provider, including network connectivity, power, cooling, and physical security. This provides the company with a high-performance environment for their IT infrastructure while offloading the complexities of maintaining it themselves. Colocation Server allows businesses to scale their infrastructure as needed. You can easily add more servers or increase capacity without the need for additional on-premises space or resources. Server Leasing is a service where businesses rent servers from a hosting provider rather than purchasing them outright. These servers are typically hosted in data centers with high-level security, maintenance, and support. By leasing servers, companies can access powerful hardware and technology without the responsibility of managing the infrastructure themselves. One of the main advantages of Server Leasing is cost savings. Buying servers and other IT equipment can involve significant upfront costs, including installation, maintenance, and regular upgrades. With Server Leasing, businesses can pay a monthly or yearly fee, making it a more affordable and predictable option.
